It turns out that it wasn’t until 2020 that Bono Vox and the band released the behind-the-scenes video of the recording of the clip, which was filmed entirely at Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris.

The clip already featured some real aircraft such as Air France and an Airbus A310 from Middle East Airlines (MEA) from Lebanon, in addition to the final scenes with animations of the Boeing 747 and an Airbus A340 on the runway over the band take off. . Although the takeoffs aren’t real, the band actually recorded and played on one of the airport runways that was disabled for a few hours to record the clip.

In the making-of below you can see pictures of a Bombardier CRJ from the late Lauda Air as well as a Boeing 747-400 from Air India and even a rare Antonov An-74. The clip also highlights the distinctive architecture of Charles de Gaulle in its various terminals.

The song itself is about people who enjoy a nice day and don’t just let go of it. There is no doubt that one of the ways to enjoy a day is to travel by plane. Enjoy.
