FEINDEF21 will take place in Madrid from November 3rd to 5th, 2021 and will include the participation of more than 60 foreign delegations and more than 300 exhibitors. The second edition of the International Security and Defense Fair, organized by the FEINDEF Foundation, was officially presented in a ceremony chaired by the Secretary of State for Defense, Da. Esperanza Casteleiro Llamazares and the President of the FEINDEF Foundation, Mr. Julin Garca Vargas. Ricardo Dominguez, the new president of Navantia, who replaced Beln Gualda, who made his first statements as the head of the Spanish joint-stock company, also took part in this law.
FEINDEF21 will be an important boost to economic and technological development aimed at improving the sector’s access to the European defense supply chain in order to achieve the goals set in the 2030 Agenda. Positioning the Spanish brand as a benchmark in the industrial sector. The fair expects the attendance of more than 20,000 professionals who meet at the 31,000 square meter exhibition, which is designed to exchange information and advice on the needs and solutions of the industry.
The plan of activities to be developed aims to reaffirm this event as the most important defense and security event in Spain by creating a space where new networking opportunities will be created between exhibitors and international delegations, national authorities and visitors in general.
The first edition of FEINDEF took place successfully between May 29th and 31st, 2019. Around 12,800 visitors took part in the fair, in which more than 150 companies took part on an area of 14,000 square meters.
In this second edition, which will take place on November 3rd, 4th and 5th in pavilions 8 and 10 of Ifema, the fair extends over 30,000 square meters and meets all the necessary hygiene measures of its organizers, Grupo Metalia, at all times. to ensure the safety of all participants.
