The LHD Juan Carlos I of the Spanish Navy in the large dock of the Puerto Real de Navantia shipyard (with photo gallery)

In early November, the flagship of the Spanish Navy, the LHD (Landing Helicopter Dock) Juan Carlos I, entered the Bay of Cádiz on its way to the Navantia shipyard in Puerto Real, where it called for the first time on the occasion of some program work.

It is expected to stay there through December 27th, when the work is complete, which includes improving the propulsion system, general repainting, reworking the stabilizer blades, maneuvering propellers, checking the condition of the bottom valves, fire distributors, and more of equipment include aspirations as well as a full inspection of tanks and other empty spaces.

The pictures show Juan Carlos I recently arriving at the huge dock of the Puerto Real shipyard, both from the dock and from the two giant overhead cranes that this shipyard has to also see the Constitution Bridge of 1812, inaugurated in 2015 and below who drove the ship past to the shipyard.
