This was stated by Colonel Adrián Benito, head of the 8×8 video recorder program in the General Directorate of Armaments and Materials (DGAM) of the Ministry of Defense, in a recent online seminar. The DGAM’s program director expects the technology programs’ target to be achieved in 2021 and recalled that the five demonstrators that form the basis of the VCR “Dragon” technological risk reduction program. ?? They should have been delivered by the end of 2020, but there have been a number of delays that resulted in them not being delivered to the administration. ?? ?? We expect them to be delivered in 2021 depending on how we sign the contract? ??
Recall that last week the possibility of termination of the demonstration contract arose due to the current situation and that both the Department of Defense and the Temporary Union of Enterprises (UTE) that awarded it would be conducting an audit.

Organized on the 23rd by the Defense Technologies Committee of the Spanish Institute of Engineering (IIE) and broadcast online with a large number of visitors.
