The Argentine Air Force tests the joint action of their manned and unmanned aircraft in Search and Rescue Operations-Noticias

The Argentine Air Force conducted the “Aukan” integration exercise in the facilities of Experiment Center 1 (CELPA 1) for self-propelled projectiles, a unit in the city of Chamical in the north-west of the country. During the exercise, manned aircraft and unmanned aerial systems worked together for the first time to test the capabilities of these means in search and rescue operations.

Unmanned Aukan aircraft and Bell 412EP helicopters were involved in the maneuvers. On that occasion, the presence of the Air Force’s Chief of Staff, Brigadier Xavier Julin Isaac, who arrived at this remote unit along with personnel participating in the exercise aboard the Saab 340B, registered T-34. The FAA continues to seek the conformation of operations management that enables it to maintain and operate sophisticated systems. There is important training for operators and specialists on this subject.
