LATAM Cargo Brasil, cargo unit of LATAM Airlines Brasil, is opening a new cargo terminal (TECA) in Brasília (DF) today (September 11th), the company’s second largest hub (connection center) in the country. New structure will expand cargo capacity and connectivity in the federal district.
The new TECA from LATAM Cargo is located at Brasília Airport and has a total area of 13,500 m², a constructed area of 6,260 m² and a storage area of 5,121 m², which corresponds to an increase in floor space of 66% compared to the dimensions of the old one. Terminal that now has 8 levels of positions for vertical storage.
The new TECA has an appropriate structure that meets the requirements of the load safely, efficiently and with the best customer service. In addition, it has exclusive parking spaces, covered docks for loading and unloading cargo and a dedicated area for shipping cargo weighing less than 30 kg (small quantities).

In recent years, LATAM Cargo has invested in the structure of its freight terminals across Brazil to transform the company into a freight hub. The investments included the construction or expansion of several terminals such as Guarulhos, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Uberlândia, Ribeirão Preto, Belém and Galeão in Rio de Janeiro.

The LATAM Cargo Cargo Terminal in Brasília is open Monday to Friday around the clock and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
