Thanks to the extension of the codeshare agreement between GOL and the airlines that are part of Avianca Holdings, customers of both airlines can now access additional benefits such as: B. Travel in conjunction with a single ticket, direct baggage screening to the final destination on connecting flights and maintaining the same baggage allowance on shared routes. This alliance applies to flights between Brazil and Colombia as well as domestic flights from both countries.
In return, the companies have introduced the frequent flyer agreement, with which participants in the Smiles and LifeMiles loyalty programs can collect and redeem miles on flights operated by both companies

The current alliance includes the option to reach 50 destinations in Brazil and 20 destinations in Colombia. In October 2019, the two companies signed the first phase of the agreement, thanks to which the airline of Colombian origin was already selling tickets for flights to Brazil.
