Embraer and Porsche announce collaboration on the project to create a limited “Duet”

Embraer and Porsche, two global leaders in technology and innovation, jointly developed the Duet project, limited editions of the Embraer Phenom 300E airplane and the Porsche 911 Turbo S.

Embraer and Porsche are both known for their world-class engineering, performance and design, and for the first time in history will only produce ten pairs of business jets and sports cars that offer a truly seamless experience from the road to the clouds.

“The Duet is an exclusive package that was developed in collaboration with Porsche. This rare and nifty combination will only be available this time through this exclusive partnership, ”said Michael Amalfitano, President and CEO of Embraer Executive Aviation. “We always strive to provide the best possible customer experience and bring together two of the best-known brands in the aerospace and automotive industries. We group companies that are benchmarks in the production of sports cars and in the light jet market, and we prove once again that we don’t just follow trends – we create them. “

The Duet brings the best of the Phenom 300E and the 911 Turbo S in perfect harmony. The Phenom 300, the fastest and most long-range single-pilot business jet in the world, has changed the category of light jets.

From its revolutionary and award-winning interior design with plenty of cabin and hold space to its highly intuitive avionics, the aircraft offers unparalleled performance, exceptional comfort and first-class technology at low operating costs, features previously only available on very powerful jets. greater.

The 911 is the heart of the Porsche product portfolio and has one of the longest and most famous traditions in the automotive industry. The 911 Turbo S is the pinnacle of the 911 models and stands for performance and ease of use.

“Porsche and Embraer share a number of common values,” said Alexander Fabig, Vice President Personalization and Classic at Porsche AG. “For this collaboration, we use the know-how of both brands to work together on a pair of vehicles that is equally attractive for the selected customer group of jets and sports cars.”

The Duet was jointly developed and combines speed and style, luxury and power – the signature Phenom 300E and Porsche 911 Turbo S. The most successful business jet of the decade (2010-2019) meets the gold standard in the sports car market, resulting in a jet and a car with exclusive designs, both with their personalized interiors and paintings inspired by each other.

“This is the perfect connection between car and jet, embodied with the exclusive logo of the cooperation. This logo combines the aeronautical support requirements represented by the Phenom 300E Winglet with the runway stop requirements represented by the Model 911 spoiler. To further cement this symbiotic partnership, the aircraft registration number will appear on both wings on the back of the car and on the sides of the key, ”said Jay Beever, Embraer’s Vice President of Design.

The exclusive logo of the cooperation is engraved on the headrests of the aircraft seats and on the headrests of the vehicle, as well as on the covers of the object holders, speaker grilles and near the main door. Each pair also has a special badge indicating that this model is one of only ten units available. The customer has the option of choosing a number between one and ten to determine the unit that his car and airplane represent.

In order to create a seamless transition from aircraft to car for this exclusive customer universe, the design inspiration of the aircraft mirrors that of the car and vice versa. Starting with the seats, the sewing style of the Phenom 300E seats was based on that of the 911 Turbo S. In both vehicles, the seats have details such as seams in a Speed Blue finish, carbon fiber cover and even the red stripe in the plane represents the location of the life jacket and establishes a common connection.

In the 911 Turbo S, Porsche introduced a unique color combination for the steering wheel that matched the aircraft pole, and for the first time Porsche put on the roof of the car, Chalk Alcantara, a clean finish, another homage to the aircraft. To complete the interior, the Sport Chrono watch features an artificial horizon design inspired by the aircraft’s instrument panel.

The aircraft and the car have the same color palette for the exterior paintwork. Porsche combined gloss and satin paintwork for the first time. The top of the car has a “Platinum Silver Metallic” end, which transitions to “Jet Gray Metallic” at the bottom. Between the two colors there are some tracks in “Brilliant Chrome” and “Speed Blue”.

The car is completely hand painted which is unique in this project and reflects the painting process of the Phenom 300E. The light alloy wheels of the 911 Turbo S are painted in “Platinum Silver Metallic”, whereby a revolutionary laser process is used to expose a “Speed Blue” undercoat in the rims.

The air inlets of the 911 Turbo S are painted in “Brilliant Chrome” to match the attack edges of the aircraft nacelles. The LED lights on the doors project the Duet collaboration logo onto the floor, and the door sill friezes have written “No Step,” as is usually seen on airplane wings.

Special duet clock.
