The Madrid-based company Equipos Industriales de Manutencin (EINSA) was awarded the prize for leadership in innovation and economic development on March 3rd by the newspaper La Razn. This newspaper last Wednesday presented the Madrid Community SME Awards at the Meli Avenida de Amrica hotel under strict conditions established by the Covid-19.
David Ayala, Director General of EINSA, received the award for leadership in innovation and technological development for the company, a recognition that aims to evaluate the work and effort made by the company. The awards were presented by the Regional Minister for Economy, Employment and Competitiveness of the Community of Madrid, Manuel Gimnez, Andrs Navarro, CEO of La Razn, and Francisco Maruenda, director of the same publication.
The La Razn Community of Madrid’s SME Awards testify to the entrepreneurship, adaptation and innovation capabilities of the Spanish business fabric, which is mainly made up of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Although hardest hit by the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, they have shown the greatest strength and adaptability to the new situation and are benchmarks for the country’s economic recovery. EINSA was one of the 16 award-winning companies. (Jos M Navarro Garca)
