Azul Linhas Aéreas announced that it will reopen another route this year that will fly back to Aracati in Ceará on the modern Embraer E195 E2 jets, alternating with those of the E1 series, which the company uses to fly 136 and 118 seats. respectively. The operations will be carried out from December 17th with direct flights from Campinas.
The flights will initially take place on Thursdays and Sundays and the first flights will be offered at special prices, the company promises. Tickets will be available for purchase on the website from Wednesday October 21st.
Aracati Airport serves Canoa Quebrada, a tourist resort known as the pearl of the east coast of Ceará, 164 kilometers from Fortaleza. The local tourism authority considers the “pearl” after the capital as one of the most important tourist attractions in the state.
With Aracati, Viracopos Airport will offer 142 daily flights to 49 destinations from December.
