More than 100 women with breast cancer have already benefited from the Blue Connection Connection project, co-authored by Azul and the Hospital de Amor de Barretos in São Paulo. This year the company is renewing the partnership and will transport 15 more patients and their companions by October next year.
As part of the social project, women with breast cancer treated by the Hospital de Amor will be transported by Azul by plane free of charge to complete one of the stages of cancer treatment. The trips are intended for the headquarters of the institution or one of the partner units.
The Outubro Rosa flag is the main social cause of Azul, who advocated early detection of breast cancer 10 years ago and made it their main support by transporting women to treatment and promoting and even promoting awareness of the disease through internal and external campaigns Board.
With a special meaning for Azul, the company dresses in pink through various campaigns during the month of October. One of them, unprecedented and special for the company to celebrate the company’s 10 year commitment to the fight against breast cancer, is the reversal of some of the proceeds from the sale of Espaço Azul, some rows with more legroom in the front of the aircraft, in credits to the Blue Blue Connection Project, which further encourages the increase in the number of women being transported to the units of the Hospital de Amor to carry out their treatments.
Partners help too
Following the success of the campaign, which last year resulted in the donation of around 10 million TudoAzul points to the Hospital de Amor, this year the institution, which is a reference for the treatment of breast cancer in Brazil, will become part of Azul’s loyalty program as a social partner . To participate in this chain of goods, the customer will find the Hospital de Amor on the Shopping TudoAzul platform, where they can donate using vouchers of 1 thousand, 3 thousand, 5 thousand and 10 thousand points.
Customers transferring points from credit cards who are partners in the program will be rewarded to encourage the point donation for this purpose between October 19-21. TudoAzul customers receive a 55% bonus on transferring points, while customers participating in the TudoAzul Club receive a 75% bonus on transferring points. At the end of this period, Azul will donate 5% of the total points earned on the promotion to the Hospital de Amor. Transfers from all banks and credit cards that work with TudoAzul, with the exception of Livelo and Santander, are eligible for the bonus of this campaign.
Another important TudoAzul partner, Natura, also wore the Outubro Rosa shirt. During this month, the customer collects 5 points per real spent on purchases on the Natura website (from R $ 180 for purchases) and TudoAzul donates equal points to the Hospital de Amor.
