Embraer posted this video of the delivery of six A-29 Super Tucanoes to the Philippine Air Force in October last year. The milestone of this situation was that these planes flew for 354 hours, covered a total of 22,000 km and made 14 stops by 12 pilots.
The aircraft is used for air support, light assault, surveillance, air-to-air interception, counterinsurgency missions and training, and is part of the Philippine Air Force’s ongoing modernization plan. The Asian country plans to upgrade its fleet of Super Tucanos to 24 units to replace the Rockwell OV-10 Bronco. (Video: Embraer)
